Salt Lake City, UT – The Front Climbing Club (The Front) will host the Di’namik Bouldering Championships in their Salt Lake City and South Main climbing gym locations from January 10th, 2023 to January 14th, 2023. The week will culminate on January 11th, 2023 for the Pro Finals and January 14th, 2023 for the Citizens finals.
The Di’namik Bouldering Championships began at The Front Salt Lake City as an opportunity to bring the best climbers—professionals and enthusiasts—together for a competition the climbing community desired. Since its inception in 2014, the event’s primary objective has been to bring back the electrifying, gritty style of bouldering showcases brought to popularity by the Professional Climbers Association (PCA) tours and other mythical SLC competitions. The idea was to revive the legends of old, not only at the Front but the entire climbing scene altogether. As a result, Di’namik has become one of the most well-respected competitions in the nation, quickly becoming a cornerstone event for the community nurtured by the Front and beyond. Historically Di’namik brought over 300 competitors and 1,500 spectators together in its humble beginnings. As of today, this weeklong event has grown beyond a simple competitive gathering. Di’namik 2023 includes the first annual Setter Summit (a route setters’ networking event), a professional climbing competition (Pro Comp), and a citizens climbing competition (Citizens Comp). Registration for the Pro Comp is $150 per competitor and includes a collectible Di’namik shirt and a shot at the $14,000 cash purse.
Registration for the Citizens Comp is $60 per competitor and includes one spectator admission to the Pro Qualifiers and Pro Finals.
All competitors are invited to attend the afterparty on January 14h of 2023.
