“NORTH MASSIVE” Bouldering competition, live entertainment and all day celebrations
Indianapolis, August 19, 2023 – North Mass Boulder‘s 2nd annual community competition, North Massive, is back in action. Packed with festivities and world-class routesetting, competitors of all experience levels are welcomed with the choice of registering for recreational, intermediate, advanced and open categories. This year’s competition introduces a “fun” category designed to prize the climbers having the
most fun.
Register now until July 31st to receive an early bird competitor discount. Spectator tickets are $10 per person and are now available to purchase.
Among the day’s competition, North Massive’s live music by local artists and delicious food make being a specator all the better. Family fun is a priority; check out the neon Nerf war in the fitness studio and face painting in the lobby. Not to forget the dress-up pirate party in the youth climbing room. Outdoor activities include water slides, giant Jenga, and more. The night finishes out with prizing the winning competitors on the podium and a dance party featuring a light show and mesmerizing fire spinning performance.

North Mass Boulder, built in a historically preserved factory, opened in 2021 with an 18,000 square foot bouldering space, community café, fitness studio, yoga studio and outdoor courtyard. North Mass Boulder’s store has the largest selection of climbing shoes in the state of Indiana. Gym programming specializes in bouldering lessons, fitness training, yoga classes and youth camps. On the second floor is Top Out Café, prepared with fresh vegetarian and vegan options.
