    ROLE: Accounting and HR Support
    REPORTS TO: CFO; HR Manager
    TYPE OF POSITION: Full-Time; Hourly; Non-Exempt

    Job Description: The Accounting and HR Support employee provides administrative support to the accounting and HR functions within the company. Duties will include both accounting (payroll, AP, AR, etc.) and HR (onboarding, benefit enrollment, HRIS, record management, etc.) support as required. Among other duties, the employee will perform data entry, research, reporting, and administrative file management tasks while assisting with cyclical and/or ad hoc accounting and HR duties. The employee will refer all matters of process or policy interpretation to the appropriate party in a timely fashion, tracking requests to ensure they are resolved. They will maintain strict confidentiality and discretion with regard to proprietary information, and are held to a high standard of professionalism in their interactions.


    • Highly organized and detail oriented
      Able to work independently to meet competing deadlines
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace software suites
    • Experience designing reports; ability to manipulate, extract, and interpret relevant data
    • Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions
    • Highschool diploma/equivalent or above is preferred but not required

    Highly Valued Skills:

    • Experience and understanding of general bookkeeping and HR business functions
    • Employee onboarding, offboarding, and record maintenance
    • Data entry
    • Experience using HRIS and accounting software: ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks Online preferred
    • Clear and concise communication

    Position Goals & Objectives:

    • Accounting Department (Estimated 60% of Schedule)
      • Provide general administrative & data entry assistance to the Accounting Department
      • Support ongoing Accounting Department projects as needed
    • Human Resources Department (Estimated 40% of Schedule)
      • Provide administrative support to ensure accurate recordkeeping and smooth business function of the HR Department
    • Other duties as required

    Compensation: $22.50-$24.00 per hour, paid on a biweekly basis
