    Head Routesetter

    Trango Holds Pardners

    Website Stoneyard Climbing

    The Job:

You’ll be the Head Routesetter. You know what that means. You’ll rope off, strip, and reset a section of wall then clean up a bit, test, tweak, test some more, tag and log the climbs. You get to do this with a small team of people psyched to do the same. But you’re also leading the setting department. You’ll help grow the individuals involved in the department and inspire them to become the best setters they can be. This is a full time salaried position with a company seeking to serve and grow the Central Oklahoma climbing community at 2 distinct but nearby locations.

    About Stoneyard:

Stoneyard Climbing is a growing company that operates three gyms – two in Central Oklahoma and one in Northwest Arkansas. This position covers the two gyms in OK which are just 15 miles apart. Stratus Climbing is a modern Walltopia built gym in Norman, OK with big bouldering terrain and short but stout rope walls ranging from low-angle slab to 45 degree faces and roofs. The Silos are an old school climber’s dream. Copious concrete vert walls with slabs and overhangs built in allows setters and climbers to climb like they’re outside – especially when they’re climbing one of the 5 outdoor rope lines!
