    Overview:

    The Employee Experience Generalist is someone who cultivates a positive company culture for the team by embodying Sender One’s core values, purpose, and mission. They will assist the Human Resources Manager with interviewing, hiring qualified candidates, evaluating and updating interviewing & hiring processes, onboarding, and separation practices as well as maintaining employee records. As Employee Experience Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding each team member’s tenure at Sender One.

    Responsibilities:

    • Policy Implementation & HR Compliance:
    • Ensure Sender One is compliant with local, state, and federal labor laws with the guidance of the HR Manager and government sources;
    • Implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives in alignment with HR Manager’s guidance;
    • Orient new employees at designated locations to policies, procedures, and objectives of Sender One;
    • Employee Relations:
    • Promote a positive workplace culture;
    • Assisting managers with personnel procedures and policies requirements using the employee handbook, job descriptions, and HR Manager guidance;
    • Assist management with staff initiatives and resources to consistently motivate employees;
    • Collect, analyze, and report on HR metrics, including but not limited to, creating & executing new initiatives base on the analysis of HR metrics;
    • Onboarding & Offboarding:
    • Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth integration of new employees;
    • Assessing candidate questions and responses to ensure prevention of interviewing bias from our interviewers;
    • Identify core competencies and enduring traits of high performers that influence performance on the job and provide feedback to the department managers;
    • Assist managers with the offboarding for voluntary separations, including execution of the separation checklist;
    • Performance & Document Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, safeguarding confidential information;
    • Partnering with department managers to ensure timely completion of 60 Day & Annual Reviews.

    Industry Experience:

    • Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding;
    • Employee Relations;
    • Performance and document management;
    • Local, federal, & state laws, and company policy compliance;
    • Knowledge of Google Suite – Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.;
    • Bouldering, top rope, and lead belay & climbing knowledge a plus;
    • Knowledge of Paycom a plus;
    • Knowledge of Basecamp a plus;

    Time Commitment:

    • Must be able to work a minimum of 32 hours in the HR department per work week (Sun – Sat);
    • Must be willing to assist with customer facing shifts based on business demands (Sun – Sat);
    • Must be able to work at other Sender One locations as needed;
    • Must be able to work morning, night, and alternate weekend day shifts depending on business and/or operational needs;
    • Must be able to attend weekly, monthly, and quarterly department and/or gym meetings.
