The Assistant General Manager is a pivotal leadership role that directly impacts the culture and vibe of the gym. Climb is headquartered in Nashville, TN with 4, soon to be 5, total locations: Nashville, TN (2, the 3rd opening Q3 2023), Murfreesboro, TN (1) and Bentonville, AR (1). Curate Culture
Emulate a thorough understanding of Climb’s Mission and how it applies to the customer’s journey

Use of the AMGA belay technique at all times
Perform, train, and emulate all guide responsibilities
Understand and perform all duties, responsibilities within the role of senior guide
Open and close the gym facility
Track progress and development via weekly KPI reports
Dress according to staff attire standards
Details Matter
Trainer
Perform and train all guide, event, and party responsibilities and proficiencies
Identify, delegate, and check accomplishment of cleaning and upkeep of the facility
Consult on hiring / firing guides and managing job postings and interviews
Develop guide schedules and submits for approval
Facilitate all new hire day-one onboarding
Groups
Collaborate closely with GM to manage groups
Manage, plan, and execute quarterly community nights
Coordinate with involved departments for larger events
Develop relationships with local businesses: building “benefit” accounts
Manage donation requests and community outreach
Supervise scheduling and event calendar staffing
Manage the event calendar and oversee bookings
Direct group and party inquiries, conferring with management on special case events
Work as staff for groups and parties
Communicate details to the bookee/participants before event
Create Events This Weekend email weekly
Input participant rosters
Inventory and reorder party supplies
Retail
Upload packing slips and purchase orders to the drive after restocking items in RGP
Enter shipments into RGP inventory after reviewing the packing slip and comparing it to the purchase order
Assist the buyer with updating min/max and unit costs in RGP and MSRP pricing
Update buyer with a weekly email summarizing that week’s shipments
Execute inventory counts
Prepare and place janitorial/office supply orders + concession orders
Monitor concession expiration dates
Communicate with GM for upcoming events, department needs, etc
Maintain the aesthetics of the retail area and product placement
Members
Process cancellations and freeze requests
Resolve and process member past due balances
Address customers needs based upon Climb policies
Actively make calls and emails
Coordinate with Head Coach and take lead on Youth Team memberships
Assist with partnerships and community development
Certifications + Approvals
Maintain a valid Climb Lead Approval as a Tester
Valid CPR/First Aid certification
Scheduling + Compensation
Weekend availability is a MUST
