    Summer Camp Instructor

    Trango Holds Pardners

    Website AZ on the Rocks

Our camp is primarily rock climbing focused and is designed to help campers of all skill levels improve in their current climbing abilities. However, we still strive to have a fun youth summer camp and offer engaging, non-climbing activities throughout the day as well.

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven young adults who are passionate about rock climbing to join our team of camp instructors. The ideal candidate should have past experience working with children, and understand the patience and skill set required to teach young people. Our camp is half-day only, running from 8:30–12:00, Monday–Friday. The position is more instructor-based than your typical summer camp counselor, and you will be working closely with the campers, helping them learn to tie in, giving them beta on their climbs, and teaching some basic climbing techniques. There may be additional opportunities for cross-departmental work in the facility as well.
