    WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    The Front Desk Staff is at the core of building the community of members at our facility. They are passionate, hard-working, multi-taskers that offer a superior customer service experience by sharing their passion for climbing, yoga, and fitness. We are hoping to hire someone that we can promote to a Shift Lead.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide superior customer service to every guest every time
    • Maintain a professional and positive attitude in high stress situations
    • Greet and check-in members and guests
      Answer phone calls professionally and escalate issues as needed
    • Provide tours, orientations, top-rope belay checks, and answer safety related questions as needed
    • Monitor all areas of the facility often performing safety checks and enforcing safety policies/procedures as necessary
    • Completing daily operational tasks
    • Handling cash and entering credit card info in POS
    • Sell and promote day passes, memberships, retail/merch items, youth climbing teams, and instructional courses
    • Provide complete and accurate information to customer questions, and or send contact information to the correct department head

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Exceptional customer service skills
    • Enjoys talking about the nuances of climbing with customers
    • 1 year of climbing experience
    • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to adapt in high stress situations
    • Capable and comfortable enforcing policies and dealing with conflict
    • Physically capable of top rope belaying a climber
    • Be dressed appropriately for work
    • Public speaking skills ability to speak with authority in an engaging professional manner
    • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
    • Being on your feet for long periods of time
    • Flexible Part-Time schedule
    • At least 2 weekends shifts per month
