Head Coach

We’re looking for a dynamic and skilled head coach who loves youth development through competitive climbing. .

What You’ll Do:

Design and implement climbing training programs for young climbers, nurturing their love for the sport and helping them reach new heights.
Provide individualized coaching and guidance, empowering team members to develop their skills, build confidence, and achieve personal and competitive goals.
Cultivate a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and the joy of climbing.
Accompany the team to local and regional competitions, inspiring and supporting them as they showcase their talents and build resilience.
Connect with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about team activities, progress, and upcoming events, ensuring a strong partnership for the success of the climbers.

What We’re Looking For:

An individual with a deep passion for rock climbing and a strong understanding of climbing technique, training methodologies, Safesport training and USAC comps.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes to reach their full potential.
Creating a welcoming environment to organize and motivate a crew of skilled team coaches to work toward common goals.
Embraces challenges, continuously seek improvement, and are driven by the pursuit of excellence.
Commitment to risk management is unwavering, and you prioritize the emotional and physical well-being of our climbers above all else.

Salary $65k – $80k based on experience + moving allowance
