WORLD CHAMPION CLIMBER NATALIA GROSSMAN SIGNS WITH RXR SPORTS

RXR Expands Elite Roster of Limit-Pushing Outdoor Athletes, Artists and Adventurers

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Dec. 1, 2021 – World Champion professional competition climber Natalia Grossman has signed with RXR Sports, the leading agency representing athletes, artists and explorers in outdoor, adventure and endurance sports, for representation in all areas.

In September, Grossman, 20, became the first American climber in more than 25 years to win gold in the women’s lead bouldering competition at the 2021 IFSC Climbing World Championships. Grossman also earned a silver medal in the women’s lead competition, becoming the first American woman to win multiple medals at a single world championship competition.

Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Grossman is among the US’ most promising climbers in the growing sport of competition climbing. She has competed since she was seven years old, winning multiple national and international competitions. Since becoming a professional climber, she has won multiple international and national competitions over the course of her young career.

Working with partners Jonathan Retseck and Ben Ende, Grossman will collaborate with RXR Sports to develop brand partnerships, create content and build her professional portfolio.

“We’re thrilled to work with Natalia because she’s quickly become one of the United States’ most promising competition climbers,” said RXR Sports Founder and Partner Jonathan Retseck. “We’re excited about her potential as an elite climber and how her story represents a generational change in the sport of athletes who have risen to the top of the sport fueled in part by the rise of urban climbing gyms.”

Grossman currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she trains at the USA Climbing National Training Center. She attends the University of Colorado Boulder online where she is majoring in psychology and hopes to one day become a therapist.

Grossman joins RXR Sports’ roster of top adventurers, athletes, artists and explorers, which includes world-renowned climber Alex Honnold, Academy Award-winning filmmaker and explorer Jimmy Chin, visionary climber Chris Sharma, World Cup champion and Olympic mountain biker Kate Courtney, pioneering climber Emily Harrington, best-selling author, chart-topping podcaster and ultra endurance athlete Rich Roll, World Champion mountain biker Christopher Blevins and more.
