The Gravity Vault is expanding! The East Coast iconic brand that you’ve come to know is growing and moving into two new markets later this month. In August, The Gravity Vault Marin will open its doors for the first time and with it, the very first franchise location in California.
With the grand opening of this premier facility, The Gravity Vault takes a closer look at Northern California and the greater bay area at large. In addition to Marin County, The Gravity Vault has identified ten new protected territories that are prime for investment and can support a new climbing facility. New and existing franchisees can apply for these recently opened territories and begin the exciting road to opening a new climbing gym in that area.
David Pihlgren, The Gravity Vault’s Head of Business Development said, “The demographics really support the case for new gyms in these markets. The data is robust, and suggest opportunities that exist in the market now. We are excited to enter these new territories and begin creating new climbing communities around these locations.”
In addition to California, The Gravity Vault has its eyes focused on the State of Florida. Florida represents the culmination of a lot of things for The Gravity Vault. Florida, not known for its outdoor climbing scene, does have quite a large number of outdoor enthusiasts. One of the core philosophies at The Gravity Vault is to educate and bring the sport of climbing to the many who have never tried it. Florida, with its high growth rates, high net worth individuals, and low gym count, make it a very attractive area for expansion.
Lucas Kovalcik, founder and CEO of The Gravity Vault said, “The opportunity that these markets represent will provide The Gravity Vault with robust growth over the next five to ten years. We are excited to bring climbing to these underserved markets, and look forward to leading the industry with our franchise model, state of the art climbing facilities and our educational and kids programming that is second to none.”
The Gravity Vault’s new territories in these states mean there is opportunity for new entrepreneurs and individuals to come get involved in this exciting industry. The Gravity Vault is looking for passionate franchisees to be part of this growing sport.
