INDEPENDENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE

 

Great Trango Holdings is looking for an independent sales representative for its Trango gear, Tenaya shoes, and Trango Holds lines for the South Central USA (TX, LA, OK, AR, KS, MO).  This role is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, providing best-in-class account service, developing and maintaining relationships, and meeting sales goals.

 

Primary responsibilities:

Extensive territory travel to develop and maintain customer relationships via regular sales calls and visits, clinics, and demos.
Identify new opportunities in the territory – open and service new dealers/gyms
Assist in setting and achieving territory sales and performance goals, including customer and product sales forecasts
Schedule, organize, and lead territory sales visits, product clinics, and product demos.
Provide the highest level of service possible for our customers, dealers, and other employees
Prioritize takes and projects to meet expected deadline
Proactively resolve problems for dealers
Attend and assist at tradeshows, sales meetings, and other retail and consumer events as needed
Understand and present the Great Trango Holdings Inc brands.  In addition to on-the-job training, the employee is encouraged to use, enjoy, and better understand our products outside of work.
Qualifications:

·         3-5 years of experience in a sales role in the outdoor or climbing industry

·         Ability to initiate and maintain strong professional relationships

·         Proven track record to set and meet sales goals

·         Ability to manage you own workload and manage time effectively

·         Excellent written and verbal skills

·         Creative thinker and problem solver

·         Passion for climbing

 

Compensation:

This is an independent contractor role with commissions as the sole compensation.
