About the role

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to manage our company’s enterprise network, design and implement equipment installation plans, maintain each component of the network, and troubleshoot issues. This position will be responsible for monitoring the network health, assessing the functionality of the network equipment, ensuring all Internet security software is updated regularly, developing and implementing company network and security policies in accordance with the Director of Technology, and helping to maintain other company systems.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Install and configure network hardware and software
  • Design, install and implement functional and scalable network infrastructure in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Create network security policies, processes, auditing, and enforcement
  • Monitor network performance and integrity
  • Assign and update security permissions
  • Train or direct users on the correct use of software and hardware within the system
  • Resolve escalated support requests

What you’ll bring with you

  • Strong background with LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and other network hardware
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for designing and planning network communication systems
  • Knowledge/experience with troubleshooting network connectivity issues
  • Working knowledge and proficiency with O365 / Intune / Azure / Powershell
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Ubiquiti / Unifi equipment is a plus

  • This is a full-time, remote position

  • Colorado applicants: the estimated range for this role is $95,000 – $125,000 and will be based on factors including skills, experience, and actual geographic location
